Sure. That sentence has been copied in lots of blog and website (including mine, which I put it at the very end of my blog), but hey, does that really matter...? Can it effectively minimize any of copyright thefts / violate intellectual property policies...? If someone really use my properties without permission for commercial purposes, the question is, am I able to track each violation day by day for the people who use my artworks / writings without any permissions of mine...?
Well, in the world we're living now, thousands of original contents are born and created every day. It can be in the form of artworks, music, videos, essays, writings, you name it. Hell, even your daily updates of instastory and Twitter status can be classified as original content in some extent. .
The point is, I just need our maturity in admitting someone's intellectual properties. Honestly, I really glad if someone used or published my works in other medium, but I only demand one thing: "Just please don't forget to give a note or mark that the thing you used is coming from my blog". That's it, just like that. That sounds kinda bragging, but hey, it doesn't seem so difficult anyway. You can just mail me or even chat me through lots of social media, and ask for my permission.
And trust me, if you ask, I will kindly let you to use it. *Well, depends on what do you want to do with it, buy normally I will just let you. Easy right...?
